Our Process

Because Victoria’s work is so bright, bold, and colorful, we shot with the sun high in the sky to give us that additional contrast in the environment that would complement and reflect her paintings. Had we shot during the usual golden hour, the light would have been too soft and washed out her artwork. We also liked the idea of incorporating both nature and the NYC skyline into the background. Lastly, as a nod to the history we were currently living, we incorporated the mask she designed herself for some of the shots .
