Introduction
After meeting in an elementary school classroom back in CT and becoming friends for what is now 22 years, Natalia and I got together in NYC to catch up over iced coffee and take photos of each other.
When we were kids, I remember that we would dress up and practice our creative directing with photoshoots (along with choreographing dances to film on a video recorder… I mean did you really have a 90s childhood if you never did this??).
What I find fascinating is that we were both creative beings from the start, and that has never left us. I feel like it’s so easy for that creativity to get smothered by society as we grow older (or maybe it’s more of a bell curve), but to me, sustaining it throughout your entire life represents freedom.
Our Process
For this photoshoot, I wanted to capture how Natalia is multipassionate: she’s an actor, filmmaker, photographer, stylist, and creative director.
